HCL Recruitment 2023: Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a public sector undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. It is the only vertically integrated copper producer in India, engaged in the mining, beneficiation, smelting, refining, and manufacturing of copper products. The company was incorporated in 1967 and has its headquarters in Kolkata, West Bengal.

HCL operates two underground copper mines in the state of Jharkhand: the Kendadih mine and the Surda mine. It also operates a copper smelter and refinery plant in the town of Ghatsila, Jharkhand. The company produces various copper products, including cathodes, continuous cast copper rods, copper concentrate, copper sulfate, and copper concentrate.
